About Our Building
The new Mountlake Terrace Elementary School building opened for students in September 2018.
Edmonds School District replaced the existing 1955 Mountlake Terrace Elementary, thanks to a 2014 voter-approved Capital Construction Bond, additional revenue from the sale and/or lease of District property and approval from the School Board.
Square footage: 67,379, with a two story main classroom building and a one story gymnasium and commons.
